Job Description

We’re looking for a Design Lead who can become a strategic partner to our clients and lead digital experiences from research and strategy through execution and optimization. They must have a strong command over their craft as well as research methodologies. 

Design Leads at Five immerse themselves in each clients’ business and user needs, have exceptional project management and client management skills and have unrelenting attention to detail. They thrive because they’re passionate about new technologies and trends.

They’ll be expected to collaborate within a team environment with product & project managers and mentor junior designers.

Day-to-day for a Lead Designer will include designing intuitive and innovative products, wireframes, prototypes, preparing for and conducting the appropriate research study, and writing and presenting persuasive presentations for our clients.


What we expect from you

  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, iterative creative environments
  • Experience helping to lead and mentor junior designers
  • A skilled researcher and product strategist who’s comfortable jumping into any industry to innovate on digital solutions that can improve the user experience and deliver business results
  • Exceptional design craft, from conceptual thinking to visual design
  • The ability to prepare for, conduct, synthesize and present research findings and support all design decisions
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Excellent project and client management
