React Developer

We are currently seeking reinforcements for our team working on different products for our international Construction Tech client that has pioneered a new, non-intrusive way to capture performance data and provide valuable insights. The goal of this project is to fully digitize the construction process through software and hardware solutions and enable quick data-based decisions, thus increasing productivity and safety on the construction site. 

The front-end team consisting of 3 React developers is focused on maintaining all user-facing aspects of our client’s products and is currently working on 2 different products. You will work closely with your React/Node/Mobile dev colleagues from FIVE/Endava, with engineers on the client’s side, as well as with all other R&D teams, and with Product and Business stakeholders. Additionally, we plan to gradually expand the Frontend team that would work on the project. 

You would also have the strong support of our React team, consisting of 12 developers working on different projects with various skill sets, and a long-term opportunity to work on other projects and with other technologies.   

 

Responsibilities  

  • Co-owning, iteratively developing, and maintaining products that enable construction professionals to take construction execution to the next level  

  • Working on features end-to-end, and delivering them while working alone, in a team, and across teams  

  • Implementing React-based front-end written mostly in Typescript that deliver strong user value, with pixel-perfect UIs, and uncompromising performance and UX  

  • Working just as closely with product stakeholders as you do with fellow engineers 

  • Taking part in making decisions based on quantitative and qualitative user data - using analytics, user interviews, input from Customer Success and Support          

  • Participating in planning and design processes, and ideating over other people’s work  

  • Increasing code quality and maintainability through discussions and code reviews, impacting engineering culture  


What do we expect from you?   

  • 4+ years of experience with React in building large-scale applications with a wide variety of technologies and platforms 

  • Previous experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Execution and outcome driven, with a strong user-value and product-delivery mindset
     

Bonus points if you have:   

  • Background with TDD methodology 

  • Prior experience with working on both B2B as well as B2C/B2B2C focused products 

  • Experience with Node.js/Express.js  

  • Experience with AWS and docker 

  • Experience in planning, building, and utilizing RESTful APIs
